dad: we came back from our date the saturday night before or the friday night before whichever it was in michael cantori's corvette

mom: and I drove back with my eyes closed.
dad: right. all the way.
mom: but your father had a wonderful line. he'd gone down the road, which is what we called - what was the name of the bar? mr henry's?
dad: adolf's.
mom: adolf's. and he'd gone down at 1 o'clock after his last class and i didn't get down until 8:30 or 9 o'clock. and what he said to me was - he came over and asked me to dance and then he said that he had dreamed that he would come down the road at 1 o'clock and then at 9 o'clock I would walk in and he would ask me to dance. It was quite a line.
